IN/MOVE‐OUT Clause Samples

The IN/MOVE-OUT clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to a tenant's move-in and move-out from a leased property. It typically outlines requirements such as the condition in which the premises must be delivered at move-in, the process for documenting the property's state (often through a checklist or inspection), and the expectations for returning the property at the end of the lease. This clause ensures both parties have a clear understanding of their obligations, helps prevent disputes over property condition, and facilitates a smooth transition at the beginning and end of the tenancy.
