Common use of INCENTIVE DAYS Clause in Contracts

INCENTIVE DAYS. Employees will receive the following incentive for unused paid days off during each year (July 1 – June 30). 0 days used $125 1 day used $100 2 days used $ 75 18.1 PAID DAYS OFF Employees may be granted eight (8) days to be used as paid days off each year, without loss of pay. Arrangements for paid days off must be made twenty-four (24) hours in advance (except in emergency) with the employee's designated supervisor, approved by the Superintendent and a substitute is available. No paid days off shall be taken on a work day immediately before or after a holiday or vacation period, except in emergencies and on an individual basis and at the sole discretion of the employer through the Superintendent. Employer reserves the right to restrict the number of days to be used consecutively and the total number of employees on paid days off at one time. Unused paid days off are converted to sick leave and are added to sick leave accumulation each year.
