Incidental Absences Clause Samples

The Incidental Absences clause defines how short-term, unplanned absences from work—such as those due to minor illness or personal matters—are managed within an agreement or workplace policy. Typically, this clause outlines the allowable number of such absences, the process for notifying supervisors, and any documentation requirements. By establishing clear expectations and procedures, the clause helps ensure that both employees and employers understand their rights and responsibilities regarding brief, unforeseen absences, thereby minimizing disruptions and maintaining operational consistency.
