Initial Extensions of Credit Clause Samples

The 'Initial Extensions of Credit' clause defines the terms and conditions under which a lender will first provide credit or funds to a borrower. Typically, this clause outlines the specific requirements that must be met before any funds are disbursed, such as the completion of documentation, satisfaction of pre-closing conditions, or delivery of collateral. By clearly establishing the prerequisites for the initial loan advance, this clause ensures both parties understand when and how the lending relationship will commence, thereby reducing the risk of disputes and ensuring a smooth start to the credit arrangement.
