Common use of Initial Procedure Clause in Contracts

Initial Procedure. a. Step I: Every effort shall be made to settle grievances at the lowest possible level with the principal and/or designated supervisor. Nothing contained herein will be construed as limiting the right of the grievant to discuss the matter informally, with or without representation, with any appropriate member of the administration and to have the grievance adjusted, provided that the adjustment is not inconsistent with this Agreement. The Association may be present and state its views.
