Inspection of File Sample Clauses
Inspection of File. The personnel file shall be open for inspection by the employee during regular office hours, but shall be open only to such other persons as are officially designated by the District or by the employee.
Inspection of File. An employee shall have the right at any reasonable time to inspect materials in his/her file provided it is at a time when the employee is not required to render services to the District. This right does not extend to material that includes rating, reports, or records that were obtained prior to the employment of the employee involved.
7.2.1 No material derogatory to a currently employed employee's conduct, service, character, or personality will be placed in his/her personnel file unless the employee has been notified of the intent of placement in the personnel file, has been given a copy of such material and has had the opportunity to:

Inspection of File. An employee who wishes to inspect materials in his/her personnel file shall make an appointment to inspect his/her file. Materials will be inspected at the appropriate location with reasonable notice. The employee may obtain copies upon request. Such review shall take place during normal business hours and the employee shall be released from duty for this purpose without salary reduction if necessary.
Inspection of File. This file shall be open to inspection by the employee or his representative. The employee shall have the right to respond to all material contained in his file, and such response shall be attached to the item to which it pertains. A notification of response will be mailed by the employee to the originator of the material.

Any bargaining unit member shall have the right to inspect his personnel file upon reasonable request and in the presence of an appropriate administrator or designee, and to obtain a copy or copies of such material at the employee’s expense. No anonymous complaint shall be placed in an employee’s personnel file.

Inspection of File. Materials in the personnel file of a unit member shall be made available for inspection by the unit member involved. Upon authorization by the unit member, an Association representative may review the unit member’s file or accompany the unit member in his or her review of the file. No material may be excluded from inspection.

Upon prior written notice to the Superintendent, an Employee shall have the right to inspect any documents in his/her personnel file which are non-confidential and subject to inspection under the Illinois Review of Personnel Records Act. Any such inspection shall occur in the presence of authorized District personnel. The Employee may have a union representative present during his/her review of the personnel file, provided the Employee notifies the Superintendent in advance. Upon request, the Employer will reproduce without cost to the Employee one (1) copy of any non-confidential documents in an Employee's personnel file, provided, however, the number of requests is not excessive.

The unit member or, upon written authorization by that unit member, a representative of the Association, shall be permitted to examine and/or obtain copies of materials in such unit member’s personnel file. Copies of materials in the unit member’s file may be obtained for a nominal fee. (A minimum of three (3) days advance notice must be given to Human Resources Office for copies of material in the unit member’s personnel file).
