Instructional Skill. The classroom teacher demonstrates, in his/her performance, a competent level of knowledge and skill in designing and conducting an instructional experience. The classroom teacher -- a) Aligns curriculum, instruction and assessment with District Essential Learnings and Competencies. b) Uses learning objectives which provide a focus for teaching that is consistent with the needs, skills and abilities of individual students and the District's Course Competencies. c) Plans and develops instructional activities that are consistent with identified learning objectives.
