Integrating Sustainability. Whenever possible, the city will instruct its contractor to utilize resources with the lowest possible environmental impact. Reducing waste, reducing vehicle miles traveled or using public transit, implementing sustainable materials practices, and recycling materials where possible will also be encouraged. The City of Beaverton’s Sustainability Department will be engaged as an advisor in this effort.
Integrating Sustainability. ‌ For each of the tasks, the coalition will strive to integrate aspects of sustainability to the maximum extent practicable. For example, reductions in the environmental footprint can include: • Utilizing fuel efficient vehicles and carpooling for travel; • Reducing miles traveled while conducting site work with trip chaining; • Purchasing or leasing more sustainable equipment, supplies, and services; • Implementing sustainable materials management practices (reduce, reuse, recycle); • Considering efficiencies to traditional travel, including hosting virtual core team meetings with coalition partners and the consultants; and • Implementing practices that directly reduce water, materials, climate, energy, or air impacts.
Integrating Sustainability. During the implementation of each of the tasks described below, the City of Ponderay will strive to integrate aspects of sustainability to the maximum extent practicable. For example, reductions in the environmental footprint of site work can include: • Utilizing fuel efficient vehicles; • Reducing miles traveled while conducting site work; • Purchasing or leasing more sustainable equipment, supplies, and services; • Implementing sustainable materials management practices (reduce, reuse, recycle); • Considering efficiencies to traditional travel; and • Implementing practices that directly reduce water, materials, climate, energy, or air impacts.

  • Sustainability (12 /18) Pursuant to the City’s Sustainable City Principles, which direct City Bureaus to pursue long-term social equity, environmental quality, and economic vitality through innovative and traditional mechanisms, Contractor is encouraged to incorporate these Principles into its scope of work with the City wherever possible. Therefore, in accordance with the Principles and the City's Sustainable Procurement Policy, it is the policy of the City of Portland to encourage the use of Products or Services that help to minimize the human health and environmental impacts of City operations. Contractor is encouraged to incorporate environmentally preferable Products or Services into its work performance wherever possible. "Environmentally preferable" means Products or Services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. This comparison may consider raw materials acquisition, production, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, reuse, operation, maintenance, or disposal of the Product or Service.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • External Hosting Facilities DST shall implement controls, consistent with applicable prevailing industry practices and standards, regarding the collection, use, storage and/or disclosure of Fund Data by an external hosting provider.
