Interaction with Statewide Classification Committee. In respect to any matter arising under clause 14 (Statewide Classification Committee), disputes will be resolved in accordance with the terms of 14 .   • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Scheduling Committee This Committee shall be a function of the Hospital-Association Committee and shall examine scheduling/staffing patterns on units brought to its attention and shall review suggested changes to current schedules or staffing on a unit basis. Where the Committee finds significant change(s) to be proposed, it may require a vote of the nurses on the unit to be held.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association. B. The committee will accept and review application for a TLS position and will make recommendations to the hiring administrator. In developing recommendations, the committee will utilize measures of teacher effectiveness and professional growth, consider the needs of the school district and review the performance and professional development of the applicants. Teachers who are selected must meet all of the qualification contained in the TLS grant and contained in the law.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall assist any Employee, which the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
