Exclude (as applicable): • discussions and negotiations of issued interconnection study; • application fees; • applicable surcharges; • overall project sales tax; • property taxes; • line switching; • property/easement acquisitions; • future operation and maintenance costs; • recurring monthly communications circuits’ charges, if any, responsible by the Interconnection Customer to the communications utility; • soil testing; • adverse field conditions such as rock, water, weather, and Interconnection Customer electrical equipment obstructions; • environmental mitigation; • extended engineering to minimize outage time or Connecting Transmission Owner’s public duty to serve; • extended craft labor hours, to minimize outage and/or construction time; or • any required permits. Cost adders estimated for overtime will be based on 1.5 and 2 times labor rates if required for work beyond normal business hours. Meals and equipment are also extra costs incurred for overtime labor.
