Common use of Interruption of Service Clause in Contracts

Interruption of Service. If required by Good Utility Practice to do so, the CAISO or the Participating TO may require the Interconnection Customer to interrupt or reduce deliveries of electricity if such delivery of electricity could adversely affect the CAISO’s or the Participating TO’s ability to perform such activities as are necessary to safely and reliably operate and maintain the Participating TO’s electric system or the CAISO Controlled Grid. The CAISO or Participating TO shall coordinate with the Interconnection Customer using Good Utility Practice to schedule the interruption or reduction during periods of least impact to the Interconnection Customer, the CAISO, and the Participating TO; 9.7.2.5 The Parties shall cooperate and coordinate with each other to the extent necessary in order to restore the Large Generating Facility, Interconnection Facilities, the Participating TO’s Transmission System, and the CAISO Controlled Grid to their normal operating state, consistent with system conditions and Good Utility Practice.

The CAISO or Participating TO Transmission Provider shall coordinate with the Interconnection Customer using Good Utility Practice to schedule the interruption or reduction during periods of least impact to the Interconnection Customer, the CAISO, Transmission Owner and the Participating TOTransmission Provider; 9.7.2.5 The Parties shall cooperate and coordinate with each other to the extent necessary in order to restore the Large Generating Facility, Interconnection Facilities, and the Participating TO’s Transmission or Distribution System, and the CAISO Controlled Grid as applicable to their normal operating state, consistent with system conditions and Good Utility Practice.
