IRONMONGERY Clause Samples
The IRONMONGERY clause defines the requirements and standards for all metal fittings and hardware used in a construction project, such as door handles, locks, hinges, and other similar items. It typically specifies the types, finishes, and quality of ironmongery to be supplied and installed, and may require that all items match the architectural design and meet relevant safety or durability standards. By clearly outlining these expectations, the clause ensures consistency, quality, and compatibility of hardware throughout the project, reducing the risk of disputes or installation of substandard materials.
