Joints. Joints shall be restricted to 6 mm in first class brickwork and 10mm in second class brick work. All bed joints shall be normal to the pressure upon them, radial in arches and at right angles to the face in battered retaining walls. Care shall be taken that all joints are fully mortared (proportion as specified in the schedule items) well flushed up and in case where no pointing to be done, neatly struck at the work proceeds. The joints in faces which are to be plastered or pointed shall be squarely raked out to a depth of 12 mm while the mortar is still green. The raked joints shall be well brushed to remove loose particles. After the work the faces of work shall be cleared well by brush so as to remove any splashed mortar during the course of raising the brickwork.

Provide certificate of origin for all flanges. b. Provide flanged joints for all interior and exposed exterior pipe except where otherwise specified or indicated. c. Joints shall conform to AWWA C200 and AWWA C207. d. Flanges shall have a pressure rating not less than that required for pipe. Flanges shall be Class D and be drilled ANSI B16.1 Class 125.
Joints. All sealant and caulk joints shall be in good condition, free from voids and gaps, water-tight and maintained in such condition throughout the initial term including any/all subsequent renewals.
Joints a. Ductile iron pipe for below ground service shall have push-on or mechanical joints, unless otherwise required by the Town and shall conform to AWWA C151. b. Ductile iron pipe for above ground service shall have flanged joints unless otherwise required by the Town and shall conform to AWWA C115. c. Ductile iron pipe on piers shall have rigid restrained joints as recommended by the pipe manufacturer.
