Ladders Clause Samples
The "Ladders" clause establishes a structured system of incremental thresholds or levels, often tied to performance, pricing, or other measurable criteria within a contract. In practice, this means that as certain benchmarks are met—such as increased sales volumes, higher production outputs, or improved service levels—corresponding adjustments are triggered, like changes in payment rates, bonuses, or discounts. The core function of this clause is to incentivize achievement of higher targets and to ensure that rewards or obligations scale appropriately with performance, thereby aligning the interests of the parties and providing a clear, predictable framework for adjustments.
