Language Translation. Employees who translate a language in the work place identified by management as a language for which translation activity is necessary shall be paid five hundred dollars ($500) per year. The stipend shall be paid to eligible employees on a pro-rated and per pay period basis. Eligible employees shall be required to pass a language proficiency test administered by the County. The employer retains the discretion to determine the number of employees that may qualify for the premium.
