Lead Based Paint Hazards Clause Samples

The Lead Based Paint Hazards clause is designed to address the disclosure and management of potential lead-based paint risks in properties, particularly those built before 1978. It typically requires sellers or landlords to inform buyers or tenants about the presence of known lead-based paint and provide relevant reports or pamphlets on lead safety. This clause ensures that occupants are aware of possible health hazards, especially for children, and helps prevent liability issues by mandating transparency and compliance with federal regulations.
