Leave Loading. 1.1.1 Each employee before going on leave shall be paid their wages at the rate prescribed by this agreement for the occupation in which the employee was ordinarily employed immediately prior to the commencement of their leave. 1.1.2 In addition to the above payment prescribed by paragraph E, 1 hereof, each employee shall be paid a loading of 17.5 per centum calculated on the rates prescribed by the appropriate wages clauses in this agreement. The loading prescribed by this sub-clause shall not apply to proportionate leave on termination. 1.1.3 The employee may in writing request the employer to pay the 17.5% leave loading at any agreeable time of the year or included as part of normal pay.
