Common use of Leave Loading Clause in Contracts

Leave Loading. (a) A Teacher who has not elected under clause 27.1 to receive additional superannuation contributions will be entitled to the benefits of this clause 17.8. (b) Subject to clause 17.8(h), where a Teacher (other than a Casual Teacher), is given and takes annual leave commencing at the beginning of the school summer vacation each year, the Teacher shall be paid an annual leave loading in accordance with this clause 17.8. (c) The loading shall be payable in addition to the payment to the Teacher for the period of the school summer vacation.

Leave Loading. For the avoidance of doubt, a Teacher will not otherwise be entitled to the benefits of this subclause 17.8. (b) Subject to clause 17.8(h), where a Teacher (other than a Casual Teacher), is given and takes annual leave commencing at the beginning of the school summer vacation each year, the Teacher shall be paid an annual leave holiday loading in accordance with this the clause 17.8. (c) The loading shall be payable in addition to the payment to the Teacher for the period of the school summer vacation.
