Common use of Level Two - Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Level Two - Superintendent. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

Level Two - Superintendent. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached has been rendered within six five (65) school days after the presentation of the grievance, he/she may file the grievance in writing with the Association within five (5) school days after the decision at Level One or five (5) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisorpresented, then within ten whichever is sooner. Within five (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (105) school days after its presentationreceiving the written grievance, the Association shall refer it to the Superintendent of Schools.

If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then has been rendered within ten (10) school days a written after the presentation of the grievance shall be referred at Level One, he/she may file the grievance in writing to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentationthe decision at Level One, or fifteen (15) school days after the grievance was presented, whichever is sooner. The Superintendent shall hold a hearing with the aggrieved and render a decision in writing within ten (10) school days of receipt of the grievance by the Superintendent.

The appeal must be made in writing and must set forth the grounds upon which the grievance is based. The Superintendent shall attempt to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, then but within a period not to exceed ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentationdays.
