Library Policies. 9 Subject to this Agreement and the Bylaws, all policies relating to the provision of library 10 services, including hours, organization, staffing levels and type, and other services, shall be 11 determined by the Governing Board, unless specifically delegated to the Operations Committee. 12 Current policies with respect to the Library System shall continue in full force and effect until 13 changed by the Agreement, the Bylaws, the Governing Board, or Operations Committee if so 14 delegated by the Governing Board. In addition, the Library System remains subject to State law 15 with respect to libraries, including Education Code section 19146 which vests power to select 16 materials in the County Librarian.
Library Policies. For the comfort and safety of all user and safety of all users and staff of the Grande Prairie Public Library (GPPL), the following rules must be respected. Violation of any of these rules may result in suspension or restriction of library privileges, including banning from library premises. Criminal offences may result in prosecution.  Only registered assistance animals are allowed in GPPL.  Personal electronic devices must be used in a manner that does not disturb others.  Upper and lower body clothing and footwear must be worn.  Behavior that interferes with any person’s comfort or use of GPPL is not allowed.  Threatening, abusive, harassing language or behavior toward staff or other users is not allowed.  No person shall distribute or post materials without permission from GPPL staff.  No person shall traffic in, consume, or appear to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and substances.  No food or drink is permitted in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Room or when operating GPPL’s computer equipment or other devices.  Only beverages with a lid are permitted in the remainder of the building.  Sleeping is not allowed.  Feet must not be placed on the furniture.  Use of the Internet for criminal activity is not allowed.

  • Temporary Policies Registry Operator shall comply with and implement all specifications or policies established by the Board on a temporary basis, if adopted by the Board by a vote of at least two-­‐thirds of its members, so long as the Board reasonably determines that such modifications or amendments are justified and that immediate temporary establishment of a specification or policy on the subject is necessary to maintain the stability or security of Registry Services or the DNS (“Temporary Policies”). 2.1. Such proposed specification or policy shall be as narrowly tailored as feasible to achieve those objectives. In establishing any Temporary Policy, the Board shall state the period of time for which the Temporary Policy is adopted and shall immediately implement the Consensus Policy development process set forth in ICANN’s Bylaws.
