License Updates Clause Samples

The License Updates clause defines how and when updates or modifications to a software license may occur during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the process by which the licensor can notify the licensee of changes, such as through written notice or by posting updates on a designated website, and may specify whether the licensee must accept the new terms to continue using the software. Its core practical function is to provide a clear mechanism for keeping license terms current and relevant, while ensuring both parties understand how changes will be communicated and applied.
