Licensed Patent Sample Clauses
The Licensed Patent clause defines which patents are covered under a license agreement, specifying the intellectual property rights that the licensee is permitted to use. Typically, this clause lists the relevant patent numbers, application numbers, or describes the technology areas included, and may clarify whether future patents or improvements are also covered. Its core function is to clearly delineate the scope of the license, preventing disputes over which patents are included and ensuring both parties understand the extent of the rights granted.
