Liner Sample Clauses

A "Liner" clause in a contract typically defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the provision, use, or operation of a liner vessel, which is a ship operating on a regular schedule along a fixed route. This clause may specify details such as the type of vessel to be used, its capacity, the schedule of sailings, and the obligations of the parties regarding loading, unloading, and cargo handling. By clearly outlining these operational parameters, the Liner clause ensures that both parties understand their duties and expectations, thereby reducing the risk of disputes related to shipping logistics and performance.
Liner. The manufacture of a metallic liner shall meet the requirements given under paragraph 7.3. above for the appropriate type of liner construction.
Liner. CIPP liners shall be paid for at the unit price per linear foot and diameter of liner acceptably installed and shall cover the cost for all materials, transportation, labor, equipment, bypass pumping, cleaning, root removal, flushing, coordination with and protection of existing utilities, distributing project notices, removal of protruding service connections, supplying and installing liner, reinstatement of service connections, inspection, testing, clean-up, restoration, and all work and materials necessary to complete the liner installation including incidentals and associated labor for which payment is not provided under a separate Pay Item. Point repairs shall be paid for under the unit price per linear foot of the diameter and material of pipe being replaced.
Liner. Contractor shall construct and place all required subdrains, liners, leachate collection, gas collection and other environmental control systems in all new and existing cells constructed and developed by Contractor. Contractor shall take all reasonable measures consistent with Prudent Solid Waste Practices to ensure the Landfill liner is not damaged or destroyed as a result of Contractor’s operation of the Landfill. If any portion of the liner system, including under drains, exposed liners or other temporary covers along slopes, is damaged during the course of operations, Contractor shall cease operations in and immediately adjacent to the damaged area in a manner consistent with Prudent Solid Waste Practices.
Liner. The resilient, synthetic rubber seat shall be easily replaceable (bonded liners are prohibited) and shall entirely cover the inside of the body overlapping over the sides to form the seal between the body and matching pipework. Where necessary, it shall be keyed to the body with annular grooves in the bore of the valve. The design shall be such as to allow the disc to seal drop-tight to the liner so that there is no ingress of fluid to the shaft area.
Liner. The following section governs work to rehabilitate existing drainage structures by furnishing and installing CIPP liners cured with ultraviolet (UV) light.
Liner. 4.5.5.1. The liner shall be comprised of multiple layers fabricated from a heavy duty, approved non-toxic food grade material such as PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene or a combination of such. 4.5.5.2. The liner material must be internationally certified by a recognised authority or testing body for use in contact with drinking water. All liners must be ‘supported’ by way of an internal central layer/scrim. No unsupported liners will be acceptable. 4.5.5.3. The liners shall be factory fabricated in a controlled environment with all seams homogenously welded by means of hot air/wedge welding process under controlled conditions to form a watertight seal. 4.5.5.4. Suitable stiffening shall be provided around the top perimeter of the liner to provide an adequate base for the fastening of the liner to the tank wall. 4.5.5.5. Reinforced attachment straps fabricated from the same material as the liner shall be welded at suitable intervals to the outer face of the liner complete with eye-lets to allow fastening to the panel joint bolts. 4.5.5.6. If required by the procuring body, the liner material must demonstrate that the seams will not leak or permanently deform by undergoing a flume test using a tube made up of the relevant liner material and with a standard welded seam along its length. The sample must withstand a constant pressure of 3 bar for 30 minutes without evidence of leaks/weeping or permanent deformation. 4.5.5.7. The completed liner must be provided with a non-leak guarantee backed by the manufacturer for a minimum of ten years. 4.5.5.8. The liner material must be capable of being easily repaired on site in the event of damage.
