Configuration Management definition

Configuration Management means a systematic organisational, technical and administrative process put in place throughout the lifecycle of a vehicle and/or vehicle type to ensure that the consistency of the documentation and the traceability of the changes are established and maintained so that:
Configuration Management means a traceable and well documented process for managing, controlling and properly documenting and recording approved designs and technical data and changes thereto.
Configuration Management has the meaning given in section 2.1.6 of Schedule 2, Annex 1. Consultant has the meaning given in clause 33.1 (Enhanced Co-operation).
