Local Dues Clause Samples
The Local Dues clause establishes the obligation for parties, typically employees or contractors, to pay dues or fees required by local unions or governing bodies. This clause specifies which dues are applicable, how they are calculated, and the process for collection, such as payroll deductions or direct payments. Its core function is to ensure compliance with local labor agreements or regulations, thereby preventing disputes and maintaining good standing with relevant local organizations.
Local Dues. If requested by the Union, the University shall deduct PSE local chapter dues separately and remit all such funds to the local PSE chapter treasurer each pay period.

2. The District and the Association agree that ORS 243.650 and ORS 243.666 shall apply which provides for the payment of dues to a non- religious charity or another charitable organization provided the religious tenets of the employee do not allow him/her to belong to a union.
3. Any employee who has not requested local Association dues or who has not certified to the District that s/he has paid, or is paying his/her dues directly to the Association, shall be subject to the provisions of this Article. Such request for payroll deduction or certification of direct payment of dues shall be made by October 15.

Local Dues. The first two (2) deductions will comprise the yearly dues for the local Association, and checks will be made to the local Association by October 15th and November 15th. Requests must be turned in to the District by the 15th of September on the proper form. OEA/NEA Dues: OEA/NEA dues are authorized payroll deductions.
