Lockouts Sample Clauses
A lockouts clause defines the circumstances under which one party may prevent another from accessing or using certain premises, facilities, or resources, typically in the context of a dispute or breach of contract. In practice, this clause might allow a landlord to deny entry to a tenant who has failed to pay rent or a business owner to restrict access to employees during a labor dispute. The core function of a lockouts clause is to provide a clear legal mechanism for enforcing rights and maintaining control over property or operations when contractual obligations are not met, thereby helping to resolve disputes and protect the interests of the party in control.
