STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. 4.01 The Union agrees there shall be no strikes and the Hospital agrees there shall be no lockouts so long as this Agreement continues to operate. The terms "strike" and "lockout" shall bear the meaning given them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. The Employer shall not cause or direct any lockout of employees during the life of this Agreement; and neither the Union nor any representative thereof, nor any employee, shall in any way authorize, encourage or participate in any strike walkout, suspension of work, or slow-down on the part of any employee or group of employees during the life of this Agreement.
STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. 10.1 The Union agrees there will be no strike during the term of the Agreement and the Employer agrees that there will be no lockout. The word “strike” and “lockout” in this Agreement shall mean “strike” and “lockout” as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. 14.1 The Employer assures the Union that there will be no lockout and the Union likewise assures the Employer that there will be no authorization or sanction of any strike, sympathy strike, sit-down, slowdown, boycott, or other curtailment of work during the term of this Agreement, including any refusal to cross any other labor organization’s picket line.
STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. 6.1 It is agreed that neither the Union, it’s Officers, nor its members shall instigate, call sanction, condone, or participate in any strikes, slowdown, stoppage of work, transportation, or distribution from the date of the execution of the agreement to the date of termination thereof. The Corporation agrees that there will be no lockout during the term of this agreement.
6.2 The words "strike", "lockout" shall be deemed to have the meaning given these words in the Labour Relations Act, Ontario, R.S.O. 1970, c.232, as currently amended.

During the term of this Memorandum, the City agrees that it will not lock out employees, and the Union agrees that it will not agree to, encourage or approve any strike or slowdown growing out of any dispute relating to the terms of this Agreement. The Union will take whatever lawful steps are necessary to prevent any interruption of work in violation of this Agreement, recognizing with the City that all matters of controversy within the scope of this Agreement shall be settled by established procedures set forth in the City's charter, ordinances, and regulations, as may be amended from time to time.

The Company has the exclusive right to determine what merchandise will be handled in its warehouse, except that the Company agrees that in the event of a legal strike in the plant of a supplier, it will not handle merchandise from such plant, provided however that merchandise that was on the premises of the Company or in transit to the Company‟s premises at the time such legal strike commenced, will be handled. In the event of strikes, lock-outs or other similar problems involving suppliers of goods or services, the Company and the Union agree to meet and discuss such situation as it involves the parties to this Agreement, to endeavor to solve such problems in the best interest of the Company, the Union and the employees, to the best abilities of the parties.

During the term of this MOU, the City agrees that it will not lock out employees, and the Association agrees that it will not encourage or approve any strike or slowdown growing out of any dispute relating to the terms of this Agreement. The terms “strike” and “lockout” as used above will be defined in accordance with the definitions set out in the Labour Relations Act of the Province of Ontario. Inside employees are not required to cross picket lines except to perform duties relative to the Employer’s operation and the maintenance of service to equipment within the Employer’s jurisdiction and under no circumstances will an employee be required to force a crossing of a picket line.
