Maintain Traffic Sample Clauses

The "Maintain Traffic" clause requires a party, typically a contractor or service provider, to ensure that the normal flow of pedestrian or vehicular traffic is not unduly disrupted during the course of their work. In practice, this may involve setting up temporary walkways, signage, or detours to guide traffic safely around a construction or maintenance site. Maintain Traffic. Where streets, now in use, are included within or connect with the Work under this Contract, the Contractor shall keep the passageways of such streets open and provide safe and convenient means of access to buildings fronting thereon. Only such streets, as may be directed, shall be disturbed at any time by the Contractor.
