Common use of Management Trainees Clause in Contracts

Management Trainees. The Employer may from time to time employ management trainees temporarily on jobs within the bargaining unit, on the understanding that the object of the attachment is the training of the individual concerned and that the hours of work and pay of any employee are not reduced as a result of the attachment. The length of such attachment shall be limited to three (3) months. Management trainees, while performing work within the bargaining unit, shall be liable to pay the monthly dues for general purposes authorized by the Constitution of the Union but shall not be obligated to join the Union.
