Market Segment Clause Samples

The Market Segment clause defines the specific portion of the market to which the agreement or its terms apply. It typically outlines criteria such as geographic region, customer type, industry, or product category, thereby limiting the scope of the contract to a clearly identified segment. By precisely delineating the relevant market, this clause helps prevent misunderstandings about the agreement’s coverage and ensures that both parties are aligned on where and to whom the contract’s provisions pertain.
