MEASUREMENT OF SPACE Sample Clauses

The 'Measurement of Space' clause defines how the physical area of a leased or sold property is calculated for contractual purposes. It typically specifies the method or standard to be used for measuring the premises, such as including or excluding certain areas like common spaces, walls, or balconies. This clause ensures both parties have a clear and agreed-upon understanding of the property's size, which is crucial for determining rent, purchase price, or other obligations tied to square footage, thereby preventing disputes over space calculations.
MEASUREMENT OF SPACE. In calculating the area of space to be added to or deleted from this Agreement, all measurements to determine the area of space leased or used in the Terminal Complex shall be made from the primary interior surface of the exterior walls and from the centerline to centerline of each interior wall, or, in the absence of such interior wall, the point where such said centerline would be located if such interior wall existed.
MEASUREMENT OF SPACE. Useable Area shall be determined by application of the most recent version of American National Standard’s Institute (ANSI) standard Z65. 1. The factor used to increase Useable Square Feet to Rentable Square Feet represents the common area of the Building and the free use of other Corporate Research Center assets including conference rooms, audio-visual equipment, display units and recreational amenities. Because of these extra amenities, the factor used is not necessarily the same one that would be derived by use of ANSI standard Z65.1 and therefore Rentable Square Feet is not equal to the ANSI definition of Rentable Square Feet.
MEASUREMENT OF SPACE. The parties acknowledge that Landlord is demising the Expansion Premises as part of the Landlord Improvements and that the square footage figures contained in this Amendment with respect to the Expansion Premises shall nevertheless be final and binding on the parties; provided, however, Landlord reserves the right to remeasure the Expansion Premises, one time during the Term, in connection with a remeasurement of the floor area of the entirety of Building A, using Standard Methods of Measurement for Industrial Buildings ANSI/BOMA Z65.2-2012. Landlord may establish a separate address for the Expansion Premises after discussion with applicable governmental agencies, and Landlord will notify Tenant in advance before any such separate address is established.
