Common use of Medication Support Services Clause in Contracts

Medication Support Services. Prescribing, administering, dispensing and monitoring of psychiatric medications or biologicals that are necessary to alleviate the symptoms of mental illness. Service activities may include but are not limited to: 4.2.1. Evaluation of the need for medication; 4.2.2. Evaluation of clinical effectiveness and side effects; 4.2.3. Obtaining informed consent; 4.2.4. Instruction in the use, risks and benefits of, and alternatives for, medication; 4.2.5. Collateral and plan development related to the delivery of service and/or assessment for the client; 4.2.6. Prescribing, administering, dispensing and monitoring of psychiatric medications or biologicals; and 4.2.7. Medication education;
