Meeting at Which Disciplinary Action is Taken. Disciplinary action taken pursuant to this article shall be administered at a meeting called for such purpose. The REA member(s) shall receive written or oral notice of the meeting and except in the case of an oral reprimand, shall be entitled to REA representation. In unusual circumstances, when warranted, disciplinary action may be taken immediately by the Director of A&I Department. In such situations, a meeting will be scheduled thereafter when practicable, to discuss the matter with the employee.
