Common use of Minimum Daily Pay Clause in Contracts

Minimum Daily Pay. An employee who reports for work as scheduled in the usual manner who is prevented from working his/her full scheduled shift due to a cause not within his/her control, such as a flood or power outage, will be entitled to two (2) hours pay at his/her regular rate whether or not the employee starts work.
