Monument Perpetuation. 1. Monument Perpetuation, including mark-outs, will be performed by the City Public Works Engineering Support & Technical Services Division’s (ES&TS), Land Survey Section (LSS), unless otherwise noted. You are responsible for requesting the coordination of these services. 2. If at any time a monument will be destroyed or covered, such monument shall be perpetuated in accordance with state law. Inform the LSS, via project Resident Engineer, if any monument will be destroyed or covered during any construction activity.

Monument Perpetuation. DEA will recover all existing survey corners and centerline monuments shown on the right of way maps that are within the construction area that may be destroyed during construction and will set reference marks for monument perpetuation. DEA will prepare and file a Pre-Construction Corner Record as required by the Professional Land Surveyors Act, as stated in Article 5, Section 8771 for the monuments that may be destroyed during construction.

  • ADJACENT EXCAVATION-SHORING If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the demised premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the demised premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which demised premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundations without any claim for damages or indemnity against Owner, or diminution or abatement of rent.

  • Geometric visibility The visibility of the illuminating surface, including its visibility in areas which do not appear to be illuminated in the direction of observation considered, shall be ensured within a divergent space defined by generating lines based on the perimeter of the illuminating surface and forming an angle of not less than 5° with the axis of reference of the headlamp.

  • Generating Facility The Interconnection Customer’s device for the production of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Escorting Visitors Visitors to areas where PHI COUNTY discloses to 4 CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY is 5 contained shall be escorted and such PHI shall be kept out of sight while visitors are in the area.

  • Modification of the Small Generating Facility The Interconnection Customer must receive written authorization from the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner before making any change to the Small Generating Facility that may have a material impact on the safety or reliability of the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. Such authorization shall not be unreasonably withheld. Modifications shall be done in accordance with Good Utility Practice. If the Interconnection Customer makes such modification without the prior written authorization of the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall have the right to temporarily disconnect the Small Generating Facility. If disconnected, the Small Generating Facility will not be reconnected until the unauthorized modifications are authorized or removed.
