MOVEMENT JOINTS a. Movement joints are defined as all joints intended to accommodate relative movement between adjoining parts of a structure, special provision being made where necessary for maintaining the water tightness of the joint. The Contractor shall comply with the instructions of manufacturers of proprietary jointing materials and shall, if required by the Engineer, demonstrate that the jointing materials can be applied satisfactorily. b. The Contractor shall show locations of all movement joints and details thereof on drawings submitted for the Engineer's approval. c. The surface of set concrete in a movement joint shall, as shown on the Drawings, be painted with two coats of bituminous paint and new concrete shall be placed against it only when the paint is dry. Expansion joints shall be formed by a separating strip of approved preformed joint filler. d. Caulking grooves shall be provided as shown on the specification drawings. At all joints where a caulking groove is formed, immediately prior to caulking, the groove shall be wire brushed and loose material removed and blown out by compressed air. After the grove has dried, it shall be primed and caulked with approved sealing compound applied in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. At all caulked joints, the face of the strip and a width of concrete on either side shall be painted with two coats of paint having the same base as the sealing compound.
MOVEMENT JOINTS. Premier P/L shall recommend placement of movement joints in stonework and concrete. Should the client not wish to apply all movement joints, this shall be undertaken at the clients own risk and at no liability to Premier P/L.
MOVEMENT JOINTS. The building is not of sufficient size nor has a core arrangement such that movement joints are required within its floor plate. Refer to CIRIA Technical Note 107. A dedicated movement joint is located in the E-W direction along the demise line between One Carter Lane and the site of One Old Change Court.

  • Interconnection Customer Drawings Within one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of Initial Operation, unless the Interconnection Parties agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, the Interconnection Customer shall deliver to the Transmission Provider and the Interconnected Transmission Owner final, “as-built” drawings, information and documents regarding the Customer Interconnection Facilities, including, as and to the extent applicable: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Customer Facility and the Customer Interconnection Facilities, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the Customer Interconnection Facilities, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Interconnection Customer's step-up transformers, the facilities connecting the Customer Facility to the step-up transformers and the Customer Interconnection Facilities, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated step-up transformers and the Customer Facility. As applicable, the Interconnection Customer shall provide Transmission Provider and the Interconnected Transmission Owner specifications for the excitation system, automatic voltage regulator, Customer Facility control and protection settings, transformer tap settings, and communications.

  • Third Party Suppliers If Licensee wishes to obtain the Compound, Product and/or Licensed Product from a Third Party source, Licensee shall notify Pfizer through MPP of the intended source prior to making any commitments to purchase the Compound, Product and/or Licensed Product. Pfizer will determine at its sole discretion whether and on what terms to grant a license to the intended source to produce the Compound, Product and/or Licensed Product or inform Licensee whether such license already exists.
