Common use of Mutual Exchanges Clause in Contracts

Mutual Exchanges. Employees who wish to change status (i.e. part-time or full-time) shall file a letter of preference with Human Resources. a) Employee will be permitted to switch with in base for PT/FT with in classification and pay scale. ie agent to agent. b) Mutual exchanges will be governed on a by request basis by letter of preference and seniority. c) Letters of preference must be filed with Human Resources (this may be done electronically), the letter will be kept on file for a period of six (6) months. d) The exchange will be permitted provided i. The employees involved have completed their probationary period. ii. The exchange will not result in additional training costs for the Company. Mutual exchanges will be approved between senior agents in their respective locations. e) Employees with a letter of preference on file will be offered the opportunity to exchange in order of seniority. f) Once offered Employees will have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer.
