Network partition. A network partition is equivalent to multiple site failures from the per- spective of the coordinator. If a network partition occurs before the coordinator transmits its com- mit decision, the participant sites that become disconnected unilaterally abort as in case 1(a), and the coordinator commits as in case 1(c). If a network partition occurs after the coordinator has transmitted its decision, participants receiv- ing the commit message will locally commit; upon timeout expiration the coordinator will record in its Rec Info requests for reconciliation for partic- ipants that committed but did not successfully transmit an acknowledgement to the coordinator.

  • Partition The Partners hereby agree that no Partner, nor any successor in interest of any Partner, shall have the right to have any Partnership assets partitioned, or to file a complaint or institute any proceedings of law or equity to have a Partnership asset partitioned, and each Partner, on behalf of itself, its successors and assigns, hereby waives any such rights.
