Common use of New Positions of Responsibility Clause in Contracts

New Positions of Responsibility. a) In the event that the Employer creates a position of responsibility within the Bargaining Unit which is not specifically covered by this Collective Agreement, and where such position is to be filled by a member, the compensation for the position shall be negotiated between the Parties to a point of mutual agreement. b) In the event that the Employer creates a new position of responsibility and where such a position may be filled by a member of the Bargaining Unit, the compensation for that position shall be negotiated between the Parties to a point of mutual agreement.
