The Extended Health Coverage clause defines the provision of additional health insurance benefits beyond standard medical coverage. Extended Health Coverage. The employer shall pay one hundred per cent (100%) of the monthly premiums for extended health care coverage for regular employees and their eligible dependents under the Plan which is mutually acceptable to the Union and the Employer. The Employer is reviewing the Nisga’a Valley Health Authority Benefits Plan pamphlet coverage for the purpose of considering increases to benefits. If such increases are not implemented by December 31, 2023, or are not satisfactory to the Union, the Union may give notice to negotiate changes to plan benefits.
Extended Health Coverage. The parties agree to meet in April of each calendar year, to review membership benefit usage compared to the three (3) year maximum.
