No Union Discrimination Clause Samples

The No Union Discrimination clause prohibits employers from treating employees differently based on their membership or involvement in a labor union. In practice, this means that employees cannot be denied promotions, benefits, or job opportunities, nor can they be disciplined or dismissed, solely because of their union activities or affiliations. The core function of this clause is to protect workers' rights to organize and participate in union activities without fear of retaliation or unfair treatment, thereby promoting fair labor practices and compliance with labor laws.
No Union Discrimination. ‌ The Employer agrees not to interfere with the rights of employees to become members of the Union, and there shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion by the Employer or any Employer representative against any employee because of Union membership or non-membership or because of any employee activity in an official capacity on behalf of the Union, which is in accord with the provisions of this Agreement.
No Union Discrimination. No employee shall be discriminated against because of membership or lack thereof or lawful activity in the Union, provided such activities are not carried on so as to interfere with the normal work process.
No Union Discrimination. There will be no discrimination against any employee because of his or her activities for or on behalf of the Union or otherwise protected under the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.   • NON-DISCRIMINATION In the performance of this Contract, Contractor agrees that it will comply with the requirements of Section 1735 of the California Labor Code and not engage nor permit any subcontractors to engage in discrimination in employment of persons because of the race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, or sex of such persons. Contractor acknowledges that a violation of this provision shall subject Contractor to penalties pursuant to Section 1741 of the California Labor Code.

  • ANTI-DISCRIMINATION It is the policy of the District that in connection with all work performed under Contracts there be no discrimination against any employee engaged in the work because of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religious creed, physical disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, gender, or age and therefore the Consultant agrees to comply with applicable Federal and California laws including, but not limited to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act beginning with Government Code Section 12900 and Labor Code Section 1735 and District policy. In addition, the Consultant agrees to require like compliance by all of its subcontractor(s).

  • No Discrimination The parties agree that there shall be no discrimination within the meaning of the Ontario Human Rights Code against any employee by the Union or the Hospital by reason of race, creed, colour, age, sex, marital status, nationality, ancestry or place of origin, family status, handicap, sexual orientation, political affiliation or activity, or place of residence. The Hospital and the Union further agree that there will be no intimidation, discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion exercised or practised by either of them or their representatives or members, because of an employee's membership or non-membership in a Union or because of his activity or lack of activity in the Union. The Union shall be provided a copy of any written notice provided to an employee that he or she may be subject to termination, demotion, transfer, or other adverse impact for innocent absenteeism.
