Non-instructional Activities. ‌ 10.2.1 Employees are required to perform regular assignments such as faculty meetings and Open House or Back-to-School Nights. Employees shall also provide time for parent conferences on a before- or after-school basis or at times mutually agreeable between the parent and the employee. 10.2.2 Co-curricular assignments will be equitably assigned by the site administrator according to the needs of the school. The District shall define the co-curricular assignments at each school. When possible, every effort will be made to be consistent at sites of a similar type. Non-instructional Activities. Part-Time Instructors‌ Attendance by part-time Instructors at in-service training, professional development and administration days, day-time parent teacher meetings and workshops on days that they are not normally scheduled to work shall be voluntary except in accordance with this article. Should the Employer require a part-time Instructor to attend any of the above activities, it shall pay the Instructor their prorated salary for the time so spent or provide equivalent time off in lieu, for a minimum of two hours.

  • Additional Activities I agree that during the period of my employment by the Company I will not, without the Company's express written consent, engage in any employment or business activity which is competitive with, or would otherwise conflict with, my employment by the Company.   • Professional Activities The Superintendent is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local and state levels, and, subject to prior Board approval, at the national level. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board.
