Non-Standard System Clause Samples

The Non-Standard System clause defines how the contract addresses the use of systems, equipment, or processes that deviate from commonly accepted industry standards. It typically outlines the requirements for approval, documentation, and potential additional responsibilities or liabilities when a party proposes or uses a non-standard system. For example, if a contractor wishes to install a unique HVAC system not typically used in the region, this clause would specify the steps needed for acceptance and any extra warranties or support required. Its core function is to manage the risks and clarify the obligations associated with adopting non-standard solutions, ensuring both parties understand the implications and responsibilities involved.
