Normal Disciplinary Procedures. The normal disciplinary procedure shall be as follows: (1) Oral reprimand, accompanied by a written directive clarifying expectations. (2) Written reprimand (Copy to Union office) (3) Suspension or Demotion (Copy to Union office) (4) Discharge (Copy to Union office) Subd. 5. Written Reprimand: When any disciplinary action more severe than an oral reprimand is intended, the EMPLOYER shall, before or at the time such action is taken, notify the employee in writing of the specific reason(s) for such action, with a copy to the Union office.
