Notice of Change of Shift. If an employee is not given twenty four hours notice of a change of shift, the employee shall be paid at penalty rates for that shift, this means that both start and finish times have moved. Where an employee is asked to work overtime before the start of their rostered shift, this overtime does not meet the definition of a change of shift as it is in addition to their normal rostered hours.
