Notification of Intent to Return Clause Samples
The Notification of Intent to Return clause requires a tenant to formally inform the landlord of their intention to continue occupying the property after the current lease term ends. Typically, this notice must be given within a specified period before the lease expires, such as 30 or 60 days, and may need to be delivered in writing. This clause ensures both parties have clarity about future occupancy, allowing the landlord to plan for potential vacancies and the tenant to secure their ongoing tenancy, thereby reducing uncertainty and facilitating smooth lease renewals or transitions.
