Common use of Notification of Reappointment Clause in Contracts

Notification of Reappointment. ‌ A. Employees shall be notified, in writing, of their reappointment, within a reasonable period of time after they are reappointed by the Board. Employees not reappointed for the next school year shall be notified in writing, of their non-reappointment, no later than May 15. B. For the purposes of this agreement, the term permanent position shall mean a position which is expected to carry over into a succeeding year regardless of the number of hours worked per week. The employees filling such a position, whether full time or part time, pays FICA and is eligible to participate in the insurance programs.
