Notification of Teaching Assignments. Teachers who will be affected by a change in grade assignments in the elementary school grades and by changes in subject assignments in the secondary school grades will be notified in writing and consulted by the Building Principal no later than the last day of each school year. In the event that subsequent changes in the schedule are necessary, as determined by the Administration and in accordance with this Agreement, all teachers affected will be notified in writing as soon as possible. Subsequent changes in a teacher's schedule will not be made unless an emergency situation, as determined by the Administration, requires a change in a teacher's schedule of assignments. Any employee that is assigned to a new classroom shall have assistance by the District to move classroom instructional materials.
