Notification of Teaching Assignments. Teachers shall be notified in writing of teaching assignments prior to the last day of attendance or June 1, whichever comes first, for the first semester and December 1 for the second semester. The administration reserves the right to change assignments, as it deems necessary for the successful operation of the school program in case an emergency arises. A teacher may choose to resign rather than accept a teaching assignment for which he feels unprepared. In such event the resignation will be accepted regardless of the date of submittal, and no reprisals will be made in succeeding letters of recommendation or introduction.
