Number of Payments. Salaries shall be paid in twelve (12) equal payments for all employees hired prior to July 1, 2000. Employees hired after July 1, 2000, will be given the option of 11 pay checks or 12 checks with two checks in June. These employees will not receive a check during July. Effective July 1, 2007, employees choosing to receive 12 checks will receive 11 equal payments with a voluntary deduction that will make up the 12th check. This means the net on the first eleven checks may be lower, but no taxes will be taken out of the 12th check.
Number of Payments. Each certificated employee shall notify the District Clerk in writing on a form provided by the clerk at the beginning of the school year as to whether his/her salary shall be paid in ten (10) or twelve (12) equal payments. The end-of-year lump sum payment for teachers who opt for salary being paid in twelve (12) equal payments will be issued to the teacher within one
(1) week from the last day of school.
Number of Payments. Employee's pay shall be based upon 10, 11 or 12 payments in accordance with the length of the employee's work year. Classified bargaining unit members may elect the option of receiving their annual salary in twelve (12) equal, monthly installments, as offered by the Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE). Unit members wishing to elect this option must complete a signed authorization form provided by the District.

While the contract language suggests four equal payments, it is understood that should the Business Office believe a single payment would be more easily managed, then, such would be communicated by the Business Administrator to the president of the FEA prior to the initial implementation. Re: Employed Spouses It is recognized that there are employees within the bargaining unit who have spouses also employed within the school district. It is the understanding of the parties that the intent was to encourage individuals to remove him/herself from health insurance coverage provided by the Fairfield Board of Education. Hence, to drop coverage and rejoin under one's spouse does not meet the intent of the program..
Number of Payments. Service paid by the course for courses of semester length duration shall be made in five (5) equal installments each semester, with payments starting at the end of the first month of service. For service paid for courses of shorter duration than a semester the amount of payments and the number of payments will depend upon the length of the course and the start and end date. If services terminate for any reason, the amount to be paid will be based upon the actual number of hours served.
Number of Payments. 2.1 Ten-month pay unit members on contract or regular status working the school calendar shall be compensated in ten (10) equal payments based on placement on the faculty salary schedule.
2.2 Twelve-month pay unit members on contract or regular status working the entire fiscal year shall be compensated in twelve (12) equal payments based on placement on the faculty salary schedule.
2.3 Overload and temporary unit members shall be paid in 5 equal payments for the Fall Semester and the Spring Semester. Number of payments for Intersession and Summer School will vary.

Amount of Each Payment: Default: The Loan shall be in default if Customer fails to pay in full two (2) consecutive monthly payments or if Customer does not pay in full more than 3 monthly payments in any 12-month period. The Loan shall also be in default if Customer fails to pay its monthly utility bill in full for 2 consecutive months, or if it fails to pay its utility bill in full more than 3 times in any 12-month period. Partial Payment: If Customer does not pay its utility bill or its monthly payment of the Loan in full, then such payment shall be considered past due. Two consecutive partial payments of either the utility bill or the monthly Loan payment shall be a default under the Loan. APPENDIX B DESCRIPTION OF MEASURES
